The BENTLEY STONE business group is a rising power in the field of marble and quarrying. It already has a quarry in Thassos (marble crystalline of Thassos) and is preparing another quarry in the region of Drama.

Group Structure
The BENTLEY STONE business group consists of 3 active companies, namely Vertex Natural Stone, LAAS and APEX.
Company Profile
BENTLEY STONE was founded in Thessaloniki and is actively operating on the exploitation of marble quarries while already exporting the products in many foreign countries.
Purpose
In the near future BENTLEY STONE plans to build a privately owned factory for marble and granite processing.
THASSOS QUARRY
The Silver Misty marble quarry which wholly owned by Greek company – Bentley Stone business group, is located at 40°43’ north latitude, 24° 40’ east longitude, in central east of a beautiful Greek island named Thassos, with altitude about 700 meters.
The area of the quarry is 95808m2, the potential reserves of the quarry is approximately 1.1 million cubic meters(1,100.000m3), the surface visible reserves is about one hundred and fifty thousand cubic meters(150.000m3).
The products of marble blocks are white background with grey vein, have some crystal grain and much harder than other dolomite stone.
Opening
The mountain had started his quarring activity for the first time in November 1995.
Natura 2000
The quarry is located within areas of the network Natura 2000. Our company is highly aware of environmental issues and is committed to work with respect to the protected areas nearby.
Climate
Τhe climate of the region is characterized as strongly Mediterranean.
Altitude
The quarry’s altitude varies from 640 meters in the lowest level and up to 759 meters in the highest level.
